Gristmill, Rye riverfront development submitted for planning

Planning permission has been submitted for a mixed-use development along the River front in Rye. The scheme includes a commercial space at ground floor level and apartments at first floor level. The large fenestration for the apartments will provide great views of the river and Rye Citadel. Proposed materials include black brick at ground floor level, natural and black stained timber cladding and zinc roofing. A planning decision is due at the end of 2019 with an intention of starting site works in Spring 2020.
