Dukes Head

We have submitted plans for a mixed use development scheme overlooking the Royal Military Canal in Hythe, Kent. The scheme involves the restoration of a Listed building into a community café restaurant space with living accommodation above.

The rear of the site provides 2 new houses, one of which incorporates an existing Listed stable, plus a new 2 bed flat. The new buildings combine dark timber cladding which is used on the elevations and roofs to create a simple but bold form to contrast the main listed building.
