Bennetts Farm

Bennetts Farm, is located in rural Essex to the west of Brentwood in land previously part of Henry VIII hunting estate. The scheme required the redevelopment of dilapidated farm buildings to create a large mixed use sporting facility for clay pigeon shooting. The facilities were developed to suit the training requirements for Team GB, host events for national and international competition, and for general use by members, and local community.

The designs utilised the sloping site, with sub below ground floor levels, and a central landscaped courtyard, linking retail space, office space, changing and training areas, with a large scale restaurant and catering area. The buildings allowed for far reaching views over the rural landscape. At the time of approval the scheme was the largest of its kind within the green belt.
